We are a family of two Alternative Provision Independent Schools , assisting children aged 11 to 16 who have reached a crisis point in their academic experience due to behaviour which may communicate a deeper underlying need. At Aspire, our commitment to supporting the young people who walk through our doors is underpinned by a desire to meet their distinct social, emotional, and educational needs.
School isn’t easy for everyone. That’s why at Aspire, one of our key aims is to help our pupils ‘learn how to learn’. We desire to inspire our young people with hope for their unique futures, propelling them to thrive in their education.
Although Aspire is just one point in their schooling journey, our desire is to re-engagee all of our pupils with learning, so that aspiration remains integral to their future.
Our dedication to the young people we support is driven by our Christian ethos as we care for our pupils, our hope is that they too will appreciate the value of love, kindness and mercy shown to others – and will continue to demonstrate these qualities in their relationships at school and beyond.

Check Latest ReportWe are committed to providing the wrap around support that our young people and their families need. We want to enable pupils to overcome any barriers which may be hindering their education – and these obstacles often lie beyond the school gates.
We are committed to equipping our young people with the principles and life skills which will enable them to progress, despite the challenges which they may already have faced in life.
We are committed to ensuring that Aspire is a place where pupils are given extensive extra-curricular opportunities. These include games, cooking, outdoor activities, day trips and even overseas travel. We aspire to expand the exposure of our pupils to experiences and ideas which they may not often encounter, thereby fostering their personal and educational development.
We are committed to ensuring that our pupils progress following their baseline assessment, particularly in core subjects. We want to ensure that they are well prepared to succeed in examinations and are able to move on seamlessly to their next chapter in life, whether that be education, training or employment.

At our school, we are proud to offer the Aspire Positive Pathways programme, a tailored support initiative designed to help students facing emotionally based school avoidance. This programme is specifically aimed at breaking down barriers that hinder a student’s ability to engage with education.
Aspire Positive Pathways provides personalised support through carefully paced sessions that adapt to each student's individual learning needs. The programme combines pastoral care with practical strategies to ensure every student feels heard, supported, and encouraged throughout their journey.
A key feature of the Aspire Positive Pathways programme is its gradual and compassionate approach to reintegration. Through regular home visits, our dedicated team builds trust and understanding with both students and families, creating a solid foundation for success. The focus is on supporting students at a pace that feels comfortable, fostering confidence and resilience along the way.
With a strong emphasis on pastoral care, Aspire Positive Pathways ensures that every student receives the emotional and academic guidance they need to reconnect with education and thrive in their learning environment.
Our Wednesday Enrichment Programme is designed exclusively for students enrolled on a single roll with us, offering a dynamic and practical approach to developing essential life skills for the future.
The programme provides engaging sessions on cooking, budgeting, and planning a train trip, equipping students with the confidence and knowledge to navigate real-world situations. Additionally, participants receive first-aid training to handle emergencies and take part in enriching museum trips to broaden their cultural understanding and curiosity.
Through this hands-on, experiential learning, we aim to empower our students with the skills and experiences necessary to thrive in their personal and professional lives.
