School stopped feeling possible. We make it possible again.

Most of our students arrive at a crisis point. For all sorts of reasons, school has stopped feeling possible. Our job is to make it feel possible again, with smaller classes, compassionate adults and a curriculum built around real progress, not just managing behaviour.

We are rooted in a Christian ethos of respect, care and belonging, and we measure our success with one simple question: does a young person leave us more confident than when they arrived?

Four values we live by

Providing support

Wraparound support for students and families, built on trust and a high staff-to-student ratio.

Building resilience

Mentoring and a growth mindset that help students take responsibility and manage their emotions.

Creating opportunity

Trips, clubs and real-world experiences that widen what students believe is possible for them.

Enabling achievement

Functional Skills, GCSEs and a broad curriculum that keep academic progress firmly in view.

Parents’ voice

What families say about the difference Aspire has made. These first two are drawn from our Ofsted reports — we are now gathering more directly from parents and carers.

  • The school has given my child a second chance and they have started to love learning.

  • Parents and carers cannot praise staff enough for the care they provide for their children.

Both schools are registered with Ofsted and rated Good. You can read about each inspection on the Hall Green and Smethwick pages.
