Life at Aspire.

Every subject students study here, and the wider life of both schools — what a week actually looks like.

English

An open book beside a pencil

We help every student find their voice as a reader, writer and speaker.

Engaging texts and creative writing build skills for exams and everyday life. We go at each student's pace and celebrate every step forward.

Maths

A compass, circle and triangle above a ruler

We make maths friendly, practical and achievable for everyone.

Lessons link numbers to real life, from budgeting to planning ahead. With patient support, students discover they can do more than they imagined.

PSHE

Two speech bubbles with a heart

PSHE is where we talk openly about friendships, feelings and staying safe.

Students learn to make positive choices in a caring space. We want every young person to feel confident and ready for life.

RE

An arched window with a candle

Students explore big questions about life, faith and meaning.

Rooted in our Christian ethos, we also celebrate the variety of beliefs in our community. Everyone is encouraged to share their views and listen with kindness.

History

A classical column beside an hourglass

History brings the past to life for our students.

They discover inspiring people and events, including those from their own heritage. Curious questions and lively discussion are always welcome.

Student Leadership

A rosette with ribbons and a pennant

Every student has something special to offer.

Leadership roles give students a real say in school life. Stepping up builds confidence, responsibility and pride.

Sports / PE

A football, a stopwatch and a medal

Sport is all about having fun and feeling good in body and mind.

Every student is welcomed, encouraged and cheered on. Along the way, friendships and resilience grow.

Creative Arts

A paint palette and brush

Creative Arts is a joyful space for students to express themselves.

They try art, design and music, often discovering hidden talents. We love watching their confidence blossom.

Extra-Curricular

A tent and a compass

Our trips and projects open the door to new experiences.

There's always something exciting for students to try. It's a lovely way to feel part of our school family.

Science

A conical flask and an atom

Science is hands-on, curious and full of “wow” moments.

Students get stuck into experiments that show how the world works. We nurture a real love of discovery.

Enrichment Wednesdays

A calendar page with a sun

Enrichment Wednesdays are a highlight of our week.

Visits, workshops and community projects inspire students and broaden horizons. It's a day for building life skills and making memories.

Food at Aspire

We believe that good nutrition is essential to every student’s wellbeing, learning and growth. A healthy, well-fed student is better able to focus, engage and thrive, which is why we provide nourishing food throughout the school day.

  • Breakfast on arrival

Every student is welcomed with breakfast, so they can start the day settled and ready to learn.

  • Break time

Students can enjoy a hot toastie to keep them going through the morning.

  • Lunch

Freshly prepared, home-cooked meals, with fruit and vegetables included every day.

Sharing food together is also part of our caring community. Mealtimes give students the chance to build positive relationships, develop healthy habits and feel valued, reflecting the care at the heart of our Christian ethos.

A three-week rotating menu, with a lighter menu on Enrichment Wednesdays.

Food allergies and intolerances. If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, please tell us, and students should tell a member of staff before lunch or break. Staff check the allergy list before serving any food.
